Our History

Milestones Since 1986

  1. The First Showroom

    86 York is founded in New York City with a single showroom and a small assortment of bath and personal care accessories.

  2. Asia Sourcing Office Opens

    A dedicated office in Hong Kong brings sourcing, sampling and inspection in-house, giving us direct control over quality at the factory floor.

  3. In-House Design Studio

    Design, artwork and packaging engineering are consolidated into one New York studio, cutting development time on new programmes dramatically.
