Our Design Process

Six steps from brief to approved sample

Every programme follows the same six steps, so your team always knows what comes next, what you will receive and when. Timings are typical and are confirmed against your launch date at the start.

  1. Brief & Trend Research
  2. Sketch & Concept
  3. Materials, Hardware & Trims
  4. Tech Pack & Costing
  5. Prototype & Sampling
  6. Approval & Golden Sample
  1. Brief & Trend Research

We start with your brief: customer, channel, price point and launch date. Our designers add runway, street-style and colour research, then gather it into mood boards that set the direction for the range.

    Timeline1–2 weeks

    • Your brief
    • Mood boards
    • Colour forecasts
  2. Sketch & Concept

Ideas go onto paper first. Our designers sketch shapes, colourways and details by hand, then present the strongest concepts on costed concept boards for your team to review.

    Timeline1–2 weeks

    • Hand sketches
    • Colourways
    • Concept boards
  3. Materials, Hardware & Trims

Each concept is matched with the right components: metal hardware and chains, enamel and acrylic, leather, fabrics, beads and ribbons. Colour, durability and cost are weighed together.

    Timeline1 week

    • Hardware
    • Fabrics & leather
    • Trims
  4. Tech Pack & Costing

Approved designs become a detailed tech pack with measurements, Pantone references, material specs, labelling and packaging, alongside an open costing and the MOQ for each style.

    Timeline1–2 weeks

    • Tech pack
    • Open costing
    • MOQ
  5. Prototype & Sampling

Samples are made and put to work. We check colour, stitching, hardware strength and how each piece attaches to a bag or sits in the hair, then revise with your feedback until it is right.

    Timeline2–3 weeks

    • Physical samples
    • Pull & wear tests
    • Revisions
  6. Approval & Golden Sample

Your team signs off the golden sample. From then on it is the standard every production piece is measured against, and the programme moves into manufacturing.

    Timeline1 week

    • Golden sample
    • Purchase order

Sketch To Shelf

Your design, exactly as approved

Drag the slider to see a design travel from the sketchbook to the finished product. Our job is to make sure nothing is lost between the concept your buyers approve and the stock that lands on your shelf.

  1. Shape and scale kept

Every measurement in the sketch is carried into the tech pack, so the finished accessory keeps its proportions.

  2. Colours matched

Fabrics, enamels and finishes are checked against approved Pantone references before production starts.

  3. Hardware tested

Clasps, clips, rings and stitching are pull-tested sample by sample, so the product holds up to everyday use.

For Buyers

Working With Us

The questions retail buyers and brand teams ask us most often. If yours is not here, our team will answer it directly.

Ask Our Team

MOQs depend on the product and the components involved. Styles built on existing hardware and materials can start at lower quantities, while fully bespoke designs with new tooling carry higher minimums. We confirm the MOQ for every style alongside the costing, before you commit.

Yes. Private label is a large part of what we do. Your branding can go on the product itself, the hardware, labels, display cards and packaging, and we manage artwork approvals with your team.

Yes. Send us sketches, references or a full tech pack and we will source materials, sample and manufacture to your specification (OEM). If you only have an idea, our studio can design the range for you (ODM).

As a guide, design through to an approved golden sample typically takes 7–11 weeks, and production a further 5–10 weeks plus transit, depending on the product and quantity. We confirm a critical path against your launch date at the start of every programme.

Women's accessories including bag charms and keyrings, hair accessories, small leather goods, scarves and gloves. If you are looking for something not listed, ask us. There is a good chance our network already makes it.

Every order is produced against the approved golden sample. Our own inspectors check production inline and again before packing, and third-party lab testing is carried out to the standards of your destination market.
